Polyflex would like to inform you about our communications, practices related to the processing of your personal data, and your rights within the scope of the Law on Protection of Personal Data.
Who is Responsible for Your Personal Information?
Polyflex, including its current and/or prospective domestic and foreign affiliates, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and all their branches and offices, is referred to as the “Data Controller” as defined in the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698. We process your personal data within the limits set by the legislation and take the necessary technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data.
Collection, Processing, and Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data, which may vary depending on the services and commercial activities provided by Polyflex, may be collected automatically or non-automatically through verbal, written, or electronic methods such as Polyflex units and offices, the website, social media platforms, mobile applications, and similar means. Your personal data will be processed within the framework of the purposes and conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data in order to carry out the necessary work by our business units to provide you with the products and services offered by Polyflex, to customize the products and services offered by Polyflex according to your preferences, usage habits, and needs, to ensure the legal and commercial security of individuals in business relations with Polyflex, and to determine and implement commercial and business strategies.
To Whom and for What Purpose Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred
Your collected personal data may be transferred to our business partners, suppliers, authorities, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions and private individuals within the scope of the purposes and conditions for the processing of personal data specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data.
Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection
Your personal data is obtained for the purpose of providing the products and services offered by the Company within the legal framework, fulfilling the responsibilities arising from contracts and laws, and can be processed and transferred within the purposes and conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data.
Links to Other Providers’ Websites
Our site may contain links to websites of other providers. Polyflex, after establishing a connection, has stated that it has ensured that these directly linked websites are free from legal violations. However, Polyflex has no influence on the content of linked websites and cannot continuously monitor them. Therefore, Polyflex assumes no responsibility for the content of linked websites that may change after the link is established. This data protection agreement is not valid for linked websites of other providers.
Rights of the Data Subject
In accordance with Article 11 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data, as the data subject, you have the right to:
(i) learn whether your personal data is processed, (ii) request information if your personal data has been processed, (iii) learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used for their intended purpose, (iv) know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, at home or abroad, (v) request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, (vi) request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7, (vii) request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, (viii) object to the occurrence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, (ix) request the compensation of damages in case of damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
As data subjects, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to our company through the methods specified in this Personal Data Processing Information Text, our company will conclude your request within a maximum of thirty days free of charge, depending on the nature of the request. However, if a fee is foreseen by the Personal Data Protection Board, the fee specified by our company will be charged. In case your data undergoes any changes, we kindly request you to contact us through the communication channels specified below to update your information.
